Dactronics is a hitech company located near
, technological center of Northern Finland. Company was founded 1992 by Matti Sipola to develop tools and methods for specification, simulation and synthesis of embedded systems. At 1990s company developed new Windows based specification and simulation methods for designing heart rate monitors for the main customer Polar Electro Oy. At 2000s company got lots of experience with Polar designing ultra low power consumer electronics, wireless 2,4 GHz sensors and data communication systems and protocols. Dactronics has especially expertised in designing electronics and software for wireless sensors and data interfaces. Dactronics has also produced lots of Windows tools for product marketing, testing and production automation purposes. Currently company is developing new products and is just now out of business.
